Powered by Grand Seiko’s exclusive Spring Drive calibre, this model features the 44GS Contemporary Design, a contemporary version of the 44GS design, which was launched in 1967 and formed the cornerstone of Grand Seiko’s design philosophy, Grand Seiko Style.
The dial in a midnight blue as close to black as possible, together with the elegantly radiant case achieved by Zaratsu polishing, offers refined taste and high visibility at the same time.
The seconds movement on the dial further highlights Grand Seiko’s original sliding movement, which reflects the natural and continuous flow of time itself. It has a power reserve of 72 hours (3 days), and a power reserve indicator at the bottom left of the dial.
