The history of Joyería Marcos begins in 1942, when Aurelio Marcos Bartual opened the first shop in Calle Larios. Since then, the firm has grown and evolved, consolidating itself as a benchmark in luxury jewellery and watches in Malaga. In 2022, coinciding with its 80th anniversary, the flagship shop was expanded to offer an even more exclusive experience to its customers.
This renovation included the creation of a new space dedicated to Rolex, where watch lovers can discover its iconic models in an environment that reflects the brand’s excellence. This renovation brought with it the addition of Cartier exclusivity, with sophisticated and timeless pieces.
The shop expansion, coupled with an optimised online platform, allows Marcos Jewellery to offer a seamless shopping experience both in person and remotely. This growth is a reflection of its commitment to excellence and innovation in the luxury sector.
Opening of the second shop
After more than 80 years of history, Joyería Marcos has taken another step in its history in 2024 with the opening of a second shop in the heart of Málaga. With this opening, Joyería Marcos now has a total of 11 shop windows and 390 square metres of space on the ground floor between the two stores, reinforcing its presence on the city’s main shopping avenue and offering an exclusive environment for the most prestigious brands.
The new shop has added Grand Seiko to the catalogue of brands, where customers can appreciate the precision and craftsmanship of Japanese watchmaking, as well as Bell & Ross watchmaking and Damiani jewellery. With this space, the exclusive areas of TAG Heuer, Hublot and Longines have been renovated, rooms designed so that each brand can be explored at leisure.
