A design inspired by Tudor’s history

The new Black Bay 58 takes aesthetic cues from the Tudor Submariner prototype ref. 79190, developed in the 1990s. Although it never reached production, its legacy comes to life in this model, which combines an anodized burgundy bezel with a matching dial, creating a sophisticated and timeless look.

Master Chronometer certification: Precision and performance

Tudor elevates the Black Bay 58’s quality with METAS Master Chronometer certification, ensuring:

• Extreme precision, meeting the highest chronometric standards.

• Magnetic resistance, with protection against magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.

• Water resistance, capable of diving up to 200 meters (660 feet).

The case measures 39mm in diameter and is crafted from stainless steel with polished and satin finishes. Its domed sapphire crystal provides excellent resistance to impacts and scratches. The screw-down stainless steel crown features Tudor’s emblematic rose in relief.

The watch is equipped with the in-house caliber MT5400-U, a self-winding mechanical movement with a bidirectional rotor. It boasts a 65-hour power reserve, ensuring optimal performance without the need for frequent winding.

Bezel and dial

The unidirectional rotating bezel is made of stainless steel and features a burgundy anodized aluminum insert. The domed sunray-finished burgundy dial includes applied hour markers for enhanced readability and design.

This version of the Black Bay 58 is available with three bracelet options, including the standout five-link steel bracelet, which incorporates the Tudor T-fit clasp system for a precise and comfortable fit.
