Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Night Birch 40 mm
This Hi-Beat 36000 watch shares the same Evolution 9 design as the famous ‘White Birch’ SLGH005, but comes with a black dial that captures the atmosphere of the white birch forests on the Hiraniwa Plateau at night. These forests cover an area of approximately 400 hectares and are located near the studio in Shizukuishi where all Grand Seiko mechanical watches are made.
Their powerful hands and prominent fluted markers ensure perfect legibility. Its undistorted mirror-finish Zaratsu polish and delicate matt finish alternate to give the case a quiet, harmonious lustre. The case has wide lugs and a low centre of gravity that ensure the watch sits comfortably on the wrist.
This tall watch is powered by the revolutionary Calibre 9SA5, which offers a power reserve of 80 hours thanks to the high efficiency of Grand Seiko’s exclusive Dual Impulse Escapement and the high energy generation of the twin barrels. Ref. SLGH017G
