On September 20th Joyería Aurelio Marcos reaffirmed once again its commitment to the most exclusive high-end jewellery and timepiece firms by presenting to a group of about thirty guests the Tag Heuer brand.
Aurelio Marcos had invited Philippe Alluard, President and General Director of Tag Heuer in Spain to the event, and the latter offered a talk on fine watch making during the course of an exclusive reception organised at the “Le Diner” Restaurant of the Hotel Vincci Posada del Patio, where guests enjoyed a cocktail and tasting of Moët Chandon champagne.
According to Mr. Alluard, Spain is the fourth market worldwide in distribution of the Tag Heuer brand, behind the United States, England and Japan. The Spanish way of life corresponds perfectly well with the brand’s practical, dynamic, distinguished and casual spirit: a perfect piece of jewellery with which to enjoy the outdoors. In 2010 Tag Heuer celebrated its 150th anniversary, demonstrating its capacity to adapt to change by presenting a new patent every two years, generating novel concepts at the forefront of the times.
Famous stars like Cameron Díaz and María Sharapova have been the image of the brand, which is attracting increasingly larger numbers of women amongst its followers. At present more than 30% of the brand’s production worldwide consists of models for women.
